Wonderful donation to the Maynard Arts Program!

I'm excited to announce that the Maynard Public Schools received a wonderful donation from the artists at 6 Bridges Gallery and Steve Trumble of the Maynard Fine Arts Theater Place.  This donation has been specifically allocated to the public school art departments.  The group raised over $2,600 for our art department supplies! Each Visual Art Specialist will receive approximately $800 for additional supplies.  At Green Meadow,  I will utilized the funds to purchase supplies I would not normally buy-such as Crayola Model Magic, specialized markers, metallic paints, additional print making supplies, clay and a new shelf for our kiln.  Below is the photo of me and Sean Perham (Fowler School) accepting the check from Steve Trumble and Denise Shea on behalf of the Maynard Public Schools Art Departments.  If you are in town, please stop by 6 Bridges Gallery (on Main Street) or the Fine Arts Theater Place and thank them for the wonderful contribution to our students art curriculum!
